Haul-Away has completed works on Stage 1 of the WestConnex Motorway Project in Sydney. There are now 4 eastbound and 4 westbound lanes on the M4 between Church St and Homebush Bay Drive, allowing more traffic to flow and reducing travel time for many businesses and households.
Haul-Away worked with VisionStream to install the following infrastructure: New PVC pipe, new pits and Manholes, new Fiber Optic and data cable, PTZ and SVD cameras, VSLS sgins and road sensors. Haul-Away and Visionstream faced many challenges during this work, such as out-of-hours access, motorway road closures, limited access to the motorway, Elevating Work Platforms to access poles and the viaduct, strict construction deadlines and high standards for safety and quality.
Haul-Away Employees involved in the project included Nick Kirch, Sean Ryan, Tim Kirch, Alex Huxley, Owen Butcher, Paul Sherwood, Justin Heather, Brian Murphy and Brad McKelvie. Haul-Away looks forward to more opportunities on Sydney’s future infrastructure projects on the back of our
