WestConnex M4 & M4 Smart Motorway
AZ Connect was engaged for our end-to-end capabilities to deliver the Intelligent Transport System for the WestConnex M4 and M4 Smart Motorway. The scope covered the entire route: new PVC pipe, pits and manholes, fibre optic cable, electrical and data cable, optical fibre testing and commissioning, plus PTZ and SVD cameras, VSLS signs, CCTV poles, roadside cabinets, distribution boards and road sensors.
We completed over 100km of fibre cable installation within the WestConnex tunnel alone. The project was incident-free and delivered on time and within budget — with no defects issued by the principal contractor after handover.
WestConnex 3B Rozelle Interchange
Installation of new optic fibre across the Rozelle Interchange — one of the most complex underground motorway junctions ever built in Australia. AZ Connect's hauling crews worked within tight tunnel access windows and live construction interfaces to keep the program on track.
Airport Link
End-to-end fibre delivery for the Airport Link corridor — connecting critical airport infrastructure to the wider network with AZ Connect's full feasibility-to-commissioning capability.
